Our Backstory
Since 1984, Gelato Fino Delicacies manufactures baked desserts and ice cream products for upscale restaurants, food service distributors, national retailers, luxury cruise lines, fine hotels and prestigious country clubs.
Our story begins with Gregory Parker, our founder, who inherited his love of food and desserts from his mother. While living in Vermont in the 1970’s, Greg became an aficionado of ice cream making. In the early 1980’s, Greg’s “hobby out of control” had an unexpected encounter with gelato, which anchors the vibrant and dynamic Company of today.
Greg nurtured and sustained Gelato Fino for more than thirty years with an amazing staff of artisans who shared his commitment, vision and passion.
Today, the company remains a local, family-owned and operated business. Every item is hand-crafted and locally produced by our culinary professionals who guard our founder’s recipes while adding new, exciting innovation to our line up.
